Your Doula ~ Winter Jendayi

Winter is a full spectrum doula, who offers her support and care to individuals & families who are desiring a ceremonial and ancestrally-rooted pregnancy, birth and postpartum experience. Since the age of six when she first witnessed her mother’s home birth journey, she felt a strong connection to Birthwork and knew that this would be a part of her path.

In 2020, Winter took a Doula Training with Master Doula Haize Hawke, and in 2024, participated in an Indigenous Childbirth Education Training with Montse Olmos, Paulina Jimenez, Briseida Arco & Tecpaxochitl Gonzalez.

Paired with her decade-long spiritual, feminine-focused studies – especially within her path as a Moon Dancer – as well as with her personal experiences of womanhood and womb healing, Winter began offering support as a doula in 2021, with a focus on traditional and decolonized practices.

Winter believes that birth is a natural, primal, intuitive and highly spiritual Rite of Passage, and through the work she offers, she supports her clients with a holistic approach so they may experience this great, life-changing initiation in an integrated and ceremonial way.

Her focus is on empowering the mother-to-be, by nurturing the spiritual, emotional and mental realms to support the physical changes and processes, with acknowledgment of the interplay of ancestral and lineage healing, remembering and reclaiming that is present during this transformative time.

Utilizing earth-based teachings, Winter supports her clients in building trust in their birthing abilities. This trust serves to strengthen the passageway from which the child will be born – From the Stars, through the Womb, to the Earth.
