About

Winter Jendayi is a singer, musician and ceremonialist whose path and work is rooted in ancestral healing arts. For over a decade she has been a devoted student within Indigenous traditions, as well as, relearning and reconnecting with her own ancestral ways of Turtle Island, West Africa and Europe.

Singing since she could talk, Winter is self-taught on the guitar and has a background in classical music. For as long as she can remember, music has been a major part of her life and since the age of seven she has been immersed in musical study.

Winter’s relationship with music has been in direct correlation with the spiritual and cultural path she walks and the healing she’s experienced within it. Woven from the threads of her sacred studies and ancestral lineages, her music holds the worldly medicines of the Four Directions. Her voice has been described as both angelic and strong, while her songs have brought deep healing to many. She released her debut album, Hilos Sagrados, in 2022 and is currently in the process of her next recording project due for release late 2026/early 2027.

She shares her music at concerts, ceremonies, gatherings and festivals worldwide and has gained a global audience base spanning over 100 countries. Her genre, self described as Sacred World Music, is a rich cultural weaving of multilingual lyrics + stories, enchanting melodies and uplifting rhythms.
